FPE Automation at the Elk Grove Village Job Fair

FPE Automation Participates in Local Job Fair

On July 30, FPE Automation was a part of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois Job Fair at Elk Grove Village High School.

FPE Automation's Assembly/Value-Added Team Leader, Mike Skwarczek, and Event Coordinator Anna Ryan were there to talk to job-seekers about assembly technician positions at FPE. In addition to information about our company, the two brought actual components with them for attendees to see in person (pictured here, on the table). These are parts that most people never see, but they're an essential part of almost every product we buy, the food we eat, cans/bottles/packaging, our cars, medical/hospitals/pharmaceutical, fast food and so much more.

We've got a lot to offer!

FPE opened its doors in 1963. We've been local in our roots for nearly 60 years. We live, and give back, in the community we serve.

FPE Automation is a great place to work! Third-generation family-owned, it's a dynamic, easygoing team that really cares about the people who work there. You'll notice it's the first word in the company's tagline, right under the logo: "people".

In addition to all that, industrial automation is an exciting field to be in. We work with all of the cutting-edge technology making headlines today; like robotics, vision systems and AI.

Do you know someone who is mechanically inclined, great with tools, and a desk job is not their thing? Someone who might be just the right fit for our assembly tech team? If so, we'd appreciate it if you'd share this with them.

Scott Jokerst and Steve Carrera Win MAC Distributor of the Month Award for Green Energy Installation

FPE Automation Congratulates Steve Carrera and Scott Jokerst - Winners of the MAC Valves Distributor of the Month Award for a Recent Dust Collection Success

The area of industrial dust collection is seeing sweeping improvements due to technological advances in the pulse valves that run the systems. The result is more efficient dust collection, with significant energy cost savings.

FPE Automation's Scott Jokerst joined the company less than a year ago, making this a notable accomplishment on his part. He worked alongside the customer with FPE's Steve Carrera, a MAC expert and appointed area specialist.

The success story involves a local minerals processor. At the plant, an electrical engineer was intrigued with the energy savings aspect of MAC Pulse Valves. A meeting was scheduled with that engineer and the maintenance supervisor for the facility. After a full review was conducted, it turned out that energy savings would not be the only benefit. On the first installation alone, they would save thousands on reduced maintenance costs and energy savings, even more on filter life savings, and a larger number on process improvements. The result was a remarkable 7 month ROI. Plus, the plant will continue to reap the benefits and savings in the months and years to come.

All of us at FPE Automation would like to congratulate Scott and Steve! We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Matthew Neff, President & COO, and Joe Richardson, VP of Sales for MAC Valves, for the accolades.

If your facility has a dust collection system, and you have not yet had a conversation with authorized specialists about the benefits of MAC Pulse Valves, we invite you to reach out to us.

Since 1963, FPE Automation is proud to serve as your factory-authorized, award-winning source for MAC Valves products, sales, service, training and second-to-none expertise. You can trust FPE Automation with all of your MAC Valves needs.

FPE Automation's Jason Vilmer is Named PHD Top Performer

Congratulations to Jason Vilmer, winner of the PHD Top Performer Award

Jason was personally chosen by Scott Peters, Territory Sales Manager to be #1 Top Performer.

Application Details

A manufacturer of large commercial and rolling steel doors was preparing to install a new line in their facility. Jason worked with plant engineering, who reported that their previous issues had been reliability, delivery and post-installation support.

PHD’s support on replacement parts and industry-best deliveries helped the engineers feel more comfortable about automating with PHD products.

The team also determined that automating with PHD's Series CRS and CTS Cylinders would reduce complexity and save costs.

The resulting installation not only saves money. It also runs more efficiently now.
