FPE South Celebrates 10 Years!

As you may have heard, Fluid Power Engineering is celebrating 50 years in business this year. But did you know that we have a second milestone also taking place? In March of 2004, our Sunset Hills, Missouri location opened its doors and will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Monday!

A little about FPE South:

The branch manager of the FPE Sunset Hills location is Henry Schuh. Henry is a Chicagoland native and worked at Fluid Power Engineering Elk Grove Village for many years before being asked to open and manage this office. Henry started in the warehouse, worked in our Value-added/Assembly department and eventually became Warehouse Manager. He then moved into Client Care where he quickly became on of FPE's top Inside Sales Representatives. Henry stayed in Client Care for a decade or so before moving into Outside Sales. When upper management finalized the plans to open the Sunset Hills office, Henry quickly came to mind as the perfect candidate, given his familiarity with the different positions in the company and his ability to train and assist workers in every role. Henry relocated to Missouri to accept the position and has been there on a daily basis for the entire time the office has been open.

Henry is not the only team member who has been at this location on a daily basis since its inception. Although anyone in FPE Client Care (in either location) can help with anything you need, we do have two Client Care reps located in Sunset Hills to maintain a very important local presence and also assist with any walk-ins we might have. Both of those individuals, Ken Riley and Jerry Gilbert, have been with us since day one. Ken and Jerry are both Missouri natives. They have each travelled north and spent time working at our Elk Grove Village location on more than one occasion as well.

In addition to our office team, we also have a very talented sales and support staff based in the greater St. Louis area. That group is headed up by Andy Button, FPE South Outside Sales Team Leader. It includes Eric Keebler, Greg Bannister and Automation Controls Expert Mike Pingleton.

For Fluid Power Engineering, the decision to open the Sunset Hills location has far exceeded our expectations. The office has performed even better than anyone had hoped! We hope your experience is the same.

HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY - FPE SOUTH!!!
