FPE Automation Opens One of the World's First Authorized Industrial Automation Training Centers
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL,– February 20, 2020 – FPE Automation, Inc. an award-winning, industrial automation product and solution provider celebrated the grand opening of a new, high-tech training facility, less than a mile from the newly-developed Elk Grove Technology Park on Thursday. The 5,300 s.f. facility features several full robot training stations in a large training room, where hands-on training will take place. Each station has a collaborative robot arm, vision and conveyance. The facility also has a separate, high-tech vision lab which includes robots and 3D vision. It is one of the first of its kind in the world.
The grand opening celebration included a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Trustees from Elk Grove Village as well as an Economic Development Specialist were in attendance. Also participating in the ribbon cutting were FPE Automation’s management team as well as individuals from Cognex, Universal Robots, MAC Valves, PHD Inc. and Tolomatic.
Training has already been scheduled to take place and class registration is underway for a variety of training, all geared toward industrial automation. The roster includes robotic, vision, industrial safety classes and more. Leading global manufacturers such as Epson, Omron, Universal Robots, Cognex, MAC Valves, PHD Inc., Robotiq, Yamaha/YRG and more provide content and industry expertise.
