Dave Schmidt , Theresa Wallace and Enrique Lugo from Tolomatic, Inc. visited FPE last Thursday to formally thank the crew for an exceptional year and officially present this award to the team. They catered a Chicago dog lunch, complete with an adorable, miniature, working hot dog cart, like the ones you'd see in the city of Chicago.

Camozzi Presents FPE Three Awards!

Kevin Perry from Camozzi brought sub sandwiches today, and presented three separate awards in a brief presentation to our team.

FPE Automation once again received Camozzi's sales growth award. Below, Joey Bardos accepts the plaque on behalf of FPE. I'd like to join Kevin in giving a shout-out to my awesome co-workers for their dedication and for making this happen.

It's truly an honor. 2017 was quite a year. It's an exciting time to be in industrial automation. We're aware that receiving this award means customers innovated, improved their processes and used the latest technology to make things safer, more cost-effective, more accurate and reliable.

Also receiving awards today were FPE's Chad Patkus and Tom Krien. Both received the honor (and a really nice DeWalt tool set) for sales performance.

Camozzi makes essential components, fittings, flow controls, and more. They are a key industry player, reaching across a number of vertical markets.

FPE's manager of client care, Barry Allen also attended the lunch and presentation today. When asked about Camozzi, he said they are "knowledgeable, friendly and have great follow up. They all care and everyone always tries to help you."

Easy to work with, with top quality products and reasonable pricing on top of all that. If you are interested in a presentation or quote, we can help. Drop us a line here at FPE Automation

We're Celebrating Piab Awards at FPE Today

FPE, lunch is on Piab today! Thank you, Piab!

Piab's Dan Rosenmayer, pictured below on the right, visited our Elk Grove Village offices to deliver the aforementioned grub, and to take these wonderful snapshots, shake some hands and say "job well done".

We're honored. Here's what went down:

Back in March, Piab announced that FPE Automation's Tom Krien had received the Kalyteros award for Top Salesperson Midwest region 2017

Above, Tom receives his award from Dan.

In February, it was announced that FPE had won Piab's prestigious Diamond Award for 2017.

Joey Bardos and Scott Massie accepted that award on behalf of the FPE Automation team.

When we win awards like these, in virtually every instance, it is because you, our customer, is celebrating some sort of win. It means that we helped you architect a solution that improved your processes and improve your bottom line. So, it is you we'd like to thank! If you haven't had us out on location yet to take a look at your operations, please give us a call or drop us a line. We'd be happy to schedule a visit and see how we can put the latest technology from Piab to work for you.

FPE Automation Live at mHUB with Universal Robots

From mHUB in Chicago: 9-year-old girl programs the Universal Robot

By Sandia Harrison
Photos: Joey Bardos

FPE Automation visited mHUB today with our traveling robot.
Yes, it's that easy to program a Universal Robot. Pictured here, Kallie, a 3rd grader from Chicago takes over and easily gets the Universal Robot to do what she wants it to do.

But the open house was not just for school-aged children. In fact, it was created for, and mostly attended by, local business people interested in automating. Back in the early days of industrial robots, they were big and dangerous. They worked inside metal cages so that no workers would get hurt if something went wrong. Collaborative robots, or cobots, are the future. Smaller and safer, they are designed to work alongside humans and take over some of manufacturing's more repetitive tasks. They're cost-effective and reduce workplace injuries by eliminating laborious, repetitive tasks.

Missed the mHUB event? FPE Automation's traveling cobot can come to your plant for a demonstration. More information on that here.
